RunFlex

Your account and your data

Your RunFlex account holds your runs, saved routes and settings. Here is how to sign in, what we keep and how to delete it.

How do I sign in?

On the sign-in screen, tap Continue with Apple or Continue with Google, or use your email address and a password. To make an account with email, tap "No account? Create one". Passwords need 8 or more characters.

If you forget your password, tap Forgot? and then Send reset link, and we'll email you a link to set a new one.

To sign out, go to Profile, then Settings, and tap Sign out under Account.

What do you hold about me?

What the app needs to work for you, and to show us how it is used:

There are no ads in RunFlex and we never sell your data. The full detail, including which services process what, is in our privacy policy, which is also under Settings, then Legal.

Where is my data kept?

Our database is in London (Amazon Web Services, eu-west-2), encrypted at rest and in transit. RunFlex is run by ROFL Marketing Limited under UK data protection law.

How do I delete my account?

  1. Open Profile and tap Settings.
  2. Under Account, tap Delete account.
  3. Read the list, type DELETE, and tap Delete account.

This can't be undone.

What does deleting remove?

As the app says, it permanently erases:

It also signs you out on every device. A few things are kept without your name on them: our usage counts are unlinked from your account, and any feedback you sent is kept with your account and email removed.

Deleting your account doesn't cancel a RunFlex Pro subscription. Apple bills it, so cancel it in iPhone Settings, then your name, then Subscriptions. See Subscription and billing.

Can I get a copy of my data?

You can export your runs and routes yourself (see Taking your runs elsewhere). For anything else, or to correct something, write to us and we'll help.
